Where did the season go? What started out as coverage of Fall Ball, the scene has changed to Senior Day against the BC Eagles. Seven home games this year and the home schedule wraps up on Saturday. After last Saturday’s win over Navy, the offense and the defense need to bring the same fire in their bellies. Historically BC is one of those teams that give the Irish “fits” over the course of the game. If Notre Dame comes out with the tenacity like they did last week, they will send the Senior’s and Grad student players out on a high note. Also, the Frank Leahy Memorial Trophy is up for grabs. Also up for grabs is the Ireland Trophy, which was created by the Notre Dame student government in 1994, is presented annually “as a token of goodwill, camaraderie and friendly rivalry” to the winner of the game.

To celebrate the 150th Anniversary of college football, Notre Dame will
be wearing new Under Armour uniforms inspired by the 1988 National
Championship team.
Keys To An Irish Victory
Offense
Will Ian Book take a dive into the deep end of Chase Claypool again? last weeks performance was reminiscent of last season’s passing and receiving tandem. Book with five TD passes last Saturday and Claypool’s four TD receptions will have Irish nation looking for the same type of aggressive play. Maybe get a little Cole Kmet Tight -End passes in as well and maybe just maybe the Irish will walk-off the field with another solid season at home.

Defense
Defense just needs to pick up where they left off last week. Solid, no penalty football. The defense had four fumble recoveries, allowed only twenty rushing yards net and two sacks. That’s Fightin’ Irish smash mouth football.

Our Picks
Jimmy
BC is a middle of the road team. The Eagles are 38-38 the past seven years. They are returning 11 starters.
Jimmy chooses ND 33-24
George
This is always a big game for BC. BC always play the Irish tough and give them fits. This is an important game for ND as it is Senior Day.
George chooses ND 42-27

Season Of Giving
Having been on the receiving end of public assistance as a child, this time of the year I can’t think but trying to help another child in need. When I saw this I knew I had to share this. Especially with our motto #BeyondPlayingSports
The Kelly Cares Foundation is attempting to raise $10,000 to host over 100 children during our Shop With a Notre Dame Football Player event. Additional funds raised will support a new Kelly Cares program to provide direct financial assistance for non-medical services to breast cancer patients.
Please consider giving something. Every little bit helps.
Cheers and Go Irish! 🍀🏈⚡
Thanks for posting my art George! You make wrapping up the season with BC sound routine.
Hoping you are right! And yes! Let’s all give to Kelly Cares!
