The Notre Dame Football team announced that the Wake Forest game has been postponed due to COVID. The game will be re-scheduled for December 12th which in turn will push the ACC Championship game back a week. You can read all about that: Here

The silver lining. The Irish can use this situation to get healthy and rest. When the Irish took on USF they were without Kyle Hamilton, Tariq Bracey, Brendon Clarke, Lawrence Keys III, Shayne Simon, Marist Liufau, Jahmir Smith, and Ovie Oghoufo. This is the perfect opportunity for the Irish to get back to full health. Another player that can be added to the list is Braden Lenzy who still didn’t look 100% in the USF game.

The Irish seemed to really shake the rust off against USF and showed the depth of the team now if they can get healthy the Irish would be even more dangerous. Health and healing could very well be the difference maker for the Irish in the rest of the season. With notable games against Pitt, BC, and Clemson the Irish will need all hands on deck.

Shake Down The Thunder Sports would love to hear back from you
