Florida State vs Notre Dame: A Night To Remember For The Seniors

Week 11 Preview

After two weekends of traveling, the Fighting Irish are home. The Florida State Seminoles will be in the house this Saturday night. Saturday night will also be a night for twenty-five Seniors and five Graduate students. This season will be one season they will talk about for some time. The other part of the evening that will be memorable will be the weather. With temperatures expected to around 34 degrees for the high and around 22 degrees for the low. I am being told that the entire game likely to be below freezing. Please check the weather using the attached link: https://www.abc57.com/weather Players will remember every hit they receive in this game.

The Seniors and Grad Students will have a little added pressure as well. Not only do the Seniors and Grad students have pressure to play well on their special night as they play in front of family and fiends. There is a little task of staying within the top four of the College Football Playoff hunt. Each week is basically a playoff in itself. Actually the entire season has been a playoff week, in a one loss and possibly done scenario.

FSU is not the team of previous years. In a year in which they lost Jimbo Fisher to Texas A&M, the team coming into Notre Dame Stadium will look to play spoiler and destroy the Fighting Irish dreams of making the playoffs. The Irish must win this game decisively. A close game could tarnish the hopes of making the playoffs. The Irish need to #JustTakeCareOfBusiness and focus on the play they are involved in.

FSU at ND 11/10/18

Jimmy-“FSU last season record was 7-6. Jimbo Fisher exited and this will have a dramatic impact on the team. The 93 National Championship still has a bitter taste to it. There is a lot on the line in this one.” ND wins 24-13

George-“Second weekend in November in SB it’s “hittin” weather. This is the last “home” game for the Seniors as it will be Senior Night. FSU has a swagger to them that just makes me uncomfortable. The need to win for the Seniors, coupled with a need to make the playoffs, it’s an emotional game. Emotions can cause losses.” ND wins on Senior Night 42-39.

The game will be broadcast on NBC at 7:30 PM. Don’t forget Irish Wear Green!

The staff of Shake Down The Thunder Sports would like to say, “Thank you” to the Seniors and the Graduate Student-Athletes. Best of luck in all that you pursue.

Cheers and Go Irish!

Shake Down The Thunder Sports would love to hear back from you
