Home Game Schedule With NBC Sports Release

The 2021 Notre Dame Football season enters is 31st year with NBC Sports. The schedule includes four games that kickoff at 2:30 PM EST. Those games are (Toledo 9/11, Purdue 9/18, Cincinnati 10/2, and the Georgia Tech (Senior Day) 11/20). Two games back-to-back in prime time (USC 10/23 and UNC 10/30). Games that have an interesting significance on the schedule are the September 18th Purdue game. Drew Brees will be calling his second game in the both with Milke Tirico against his alma mater. The next game in a reunion of sorts is the October 2nd game against Cincinnati. Head Football Coach Brian Kelly left Cincinnati for the vacant spot at Notre Dame after Charlie Weis was let go. Defensive Coordinator Marcus Freeman also left Cincinnati to fill the vacancy left by Clark Lea who went to Vanderbilt.
The game that every Notre Dame fan has circled on their calendar is the Navy vs Notre Dame game. That game will be on November 6th. Last year was the first time in 93 years that the two teams did not meet up on the grid-iron. Now that rivalry is renewed after being forced not to play due to COVID 19 protocols last season.
